My name is Jennifer and I am in charge of the website design, photography, advertising and answering your phone calls and emails.
Our puppies and parents are given the highest quality dog foods, preventative medicines and routine veterinary services. All parents are on heartworm and flea prevention and have annual dental cleanings. We have a veterinarian on-call for us 24 hours per day. Also, in order to keep our parents looking their gorgeous best, we have a groomer who comes in every week to assist us.
All of our puppies are born in our homes. This helps them transition to new homes by exposing them to the normal household sounds and activities such as vacuums, washers, televisions and cooking noises. This also increases socialization skills.
When weaned, the moms become pampered house dogs again and the babies move to large playpens. Here they learn social skills and begin potty training. Some pups well be trained to pee pads, some to doggie doors and some to the indoor potties that use artificial grass to simulate the outdoor potty experience. How they are trained depends on the season of the year, age when the pup is sold and their size of course. The weaning process for toy sized pups and larger is started at 6-8 weeks of age and they can generally go to their new homes two weeks after weaning. Teacup puppies however are often not weaned until 8-10 weeks of age and depending on size may not be able to leave us until they are 12-16 weeks. The health and safety of our puppies is of the utmost importance to us.
All pups are sold with a health guarantee against genetic defects and you may view this document by clicking on the Contract/Guarantee tab. Our pups will have all age appropriate vaccinations and worming as needed.
We will be adding informational pages to our website from time to time to assist the new puppy buyer with your puppy’s transition to his or her new home.
We encourage you to look at the past puppies of our parents to help you choose your new baby. This is a very important decision, especially since your new family member may live 10-16 years and will therefore impact your life for a long time. Please consider the following when choosing the right breed/size for you:
1) The age of your children
2) Activity level of your family
3) Size of your home and yard
4) Any other pets you currently own
5) Any health issues in your family such as allergies
6) Number of hours you are away from home each day/night
7) Also the amount of time and money you are willing to invest in pet care
8) Lastly, please check with your landlord about pet restrictions if you are a renter before purchasing any pet
Keep in mind that it is impossible for us to guarantee the size, coat or personality of our pups but we will use our years of experience to make our best educated guess. We do not guarantee the fertility of our puppies nor do we guarantee that testicles will drop. Although we prefer our babies go to pet homes, we are not averse to selling them to “approved” home breeders. We will never knowingly sell to puppy mills, brokers, re-sellers or pet stores. We reserve the right to refuse to sell to anyone for any reason at our sole discretion. If we terminate a sale your deposit will be returned to you, but otherwise all deposits are non-refundable. We may also ask for vet references, especially if you are enquiring about one of our pups as a breeder.
A 200 dollar deposit can be placed after the pups are born but you can be put on a list to be contacted about the birth at any time. Complete payment must be received prior to the pup being shipped or at the time of pick up. Shipping varies related to the weight of the pup and size of the travel crate. For pups weighing less than five pounds (9 pounds including the travel crate) the cost is usually 250 dollars. Pups over 5 pounds usually add 50 dollars with the exception of standard poodle pups which may be more due to the large crate size. We can estimate the shipping costs before the pup is sold.
We encourage you to read our guest book entries to see how previous buyers have felt about their new family members and their experience with us. We also ask that you sign our guest book to leave your thoughts and opinions for others to read.

All pups are sold on a first come first served basis unless a deposit is received to hold him/her. There are no cash refunds except as addressed above should we terminate the sale and a deposit is returned.
We charge 6% KY sales tax.
We have passed our AKC inspection on July 13, 2011 with complete compliance. The inspector was very pleased with how we care for our dogs and babies and our expert record keeping. We are proud to be affiliated with the AKC. This is a copy of our perfect inspection report!
